I realize I am a little late posting Day 4 but had a visit from my sister last night. I laughed for 3 hours solid. She is so full of energy and has more outrageous experiences and stories to tell than anyone I know. When she left I realized how much I have missed her. There are people in our lives that fuel our soul and for me she has been one. It is so important that as we work toward achieving our 30 day plans we ensure that we surround ourselves with people who are high energy, who are vibrating at the same level as we are or higher so that they are fueling us not draining us. Today was a beautiful day in Ottawa. I spent an hour tonight in my garden clearing out the weeds so that I could make way for my new flowers to bloom. It seemed that as I cleaned out the weeds the tulips that are in full bloom looked even more beautiful because I was able to focus on them. Spring is a perfect time to weed out the weeds in our minds as well. In your 30 day challenge each time you flip a negative or unsupportive thought it is like weeding a garden. Your goal that you have identified becomes easier to focus on and to achieve.

Today is day 2 of the challenge and if you did what you set out to do today Congratulations. If you didn’t don’t beat yourself up there is a reason for it. In fact many of you may already be getting reabsorbed into your old routines and habits or struggling to achieve what you committed to do. Remember there is a reason for this. The reptilian brains primary focus is to keep you safe and so anytime you try to introduce a new program or habit or idea into your life it will automatically assume that you are in danger and will resist. So thank it and then tell yourself you are safe. It might be best to do this in private, so that people don’t think that you have been brainwashed at a personal development training session and are now talking to yourself lol!! Have a great Day
For those of you that were able to join me yesterday I hope that you are rested and woke up energized and ready to take on your 30 day plan. Remember that the results you have today are based on yesterdays thinking so if you want to change your results for tomorrow change what you are thinking today. Most of us are running in autopilot and the thoughts we have always had keep playing in our mind, rather than being intentional and choosing our thoughts. Take control of your life and your success. A good exercise is to set a timer for 30 minutes and every 30 minutes record what you are thinking about and then after a day or even two days of journalling review your thoughts. Are they supporting what you want to achieve in the future? If they are not change them flip them to a thought that will support you and your success.
